1 Peter 3:19-20 Christ proclaims His victory to the scoffing generation of Noah's contemporaries who perished in the flood. The flood is Christ's victory, the destruction of His enemies, and the salvation of His people, and the vindication of Christ. And all of these elements of the flood are evident in Christ's resurrection.
